2010 "Showcase Our Gladlands" Photo Contest
Objectives
1. Highlight life in the Gladlands
2. Foster community awareness of area attractions
3. Foster community pride in the Gladlands
4. Recognize excellence in photography in the Gladlands
Prizes
First place $200 Youth award $50
Second place $100 People's Choice $100
Third prize $50
Rules
1. Image submissions must be received by September 30, 2010.
2. All images submitted to TBI become the property of TBI and may be used without limit for marketing and promotion purposes.
3. Images must be submitted as:
(a) a digital file format: minimum size 1600 x 1200 (5 megapixels), in JPEG, TIF, or EPS format on CD
(b) a photographic print: minimum size 5x7, maximum size 11x17
4. Laser or ink jet printed images will be accepted only if printed on photo quality paper.
5. Images must be submitted by:

(b) CD or print submissions: please mail or deliver to Lynsey Russell, c/o EACC, 1700 Newcastle Road OB 7, Forrest City, AR 72335-2204, PH 870-633-4480 ext 353
6. Image submissions must be accompanied by the following contact information:
(a) Full name
(b) mailing address, city, state, zip code
(c) phone number
(d) alternate phone number (if applicable)
(e) email address (if applicable)
(f) photo release/permission form
7. To be eligible for the Youth Award, the applicant must be 17 years of age or younger. Applicant must not turn 18 before September 30, 2010.
8. There is a limit of one entry per category. Submission must be clearly labeled with which category the photograph is to be considered for by the entrant.
9. Only original and non-copyrighted photography will be accepted. No submissions from prior years are allowed.
Categories
First, second and third place prizes will be awarded. TBI is specifically seeking photo submissions in the following categories:
* Down home fun in the Gladlands
* Wetlands: Lakes, fishing, boating, and swimming
* Farm life (not just farming)
* Historic Marianna
* Historic Forrest City
* Scenic views
* People of the Gladlands
(Please note that photographs of these activities must occur within the Lee and St. Francis Counties and must be clearly identified with the submission)
Judging
All images will be judged in early October 2010.
Deadlines
"Showcase Our Gladlands" Photo Contest begins August 1 and ends September 30, 2010. All photo submissions must be received during that time.
Judging will take place between October 4 and October 8, 2010. Winners will be notified the week of October 11, 2010.
